Rachel Hauser

Board Member & Chair of the Programming Committee

Rachel Hauser has been working with Musicambia since the fall of 2014, initially serving as the organization’s Development Director before moving to the Board of Directors.

An active fundraiser, Rachel has helped arts organizations across the nation achieve their fundraising goals. She works regularly with solo artists looking to fund recordings and performances, classical ensembles of all sizes looking to build their annual income, and educational institutions seeking specialized program funding. She has served as the Director of Development at RIOULT Dance New York, raising the funds for a capital campaign to build a 4,000 square foot dance and educational center in Astoria, Queens, and as the Assistant Director of Development for Kaufman Music Center. She has also served as a volunteer at Sanctuary for Families, a New York based organization that supports survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking, and related forms of gender violence.

Currently, Rachel is the Managing Director at Reed Yeboah Fine Violins, one of the Nation’s premiere institutions specializing in the repair, restoration and sales of fine stringed instruments. A retired orchestral musician and active chamber musician, she is passionate about music and plays her violin and viola as much as her schedule allows.
